Well my name is John Dwyer and I live in Upstate NY, near Rochester, NY. I am a retired School Teacher and also a retired Town Judge. I started Flyfishing about 1956 and Flytying in 1957. I have taught Flytying now for about 40 years or so. I mainly flyfish in the Rochester are and the Catskills and Vertmont and Pennsylvania I am a life member of Trout Unlimited and was State Chairman a post I held for 7 years. As a result of my connection to TU I have been able to fish in many states, including Washington, Montana, Colorado, Michigan. I am also a member of FFF, The Catskill Flyfishing Center & Museum, where I tie every year for the Saturday Flytyer Session. I am married, have been for just short of 50 years, we have 3 sons and 5 grandkids.
